The Shordee Services Group of Companies provides Regina and Southern Saskatchewan with industry leading sales, service, and support for their residential, commercial, and industrial power needs.

The Challenge

Shordee Services had recently undergone a rebrand before coming to Adeptus. They came to us to help them implement their new brand identity throughout their business, but also to help them sell more generators. With winter fast approaching, the team at Shordee Services wanted to sell and install a large number of standby generators before snow and ice interfered.

The Thinking

After setting Shordee Services’ team up with new shirts, vehicle wraps, and email signatures using their new logo and brand identity, we moved our focus over to selling more generators. Shordee Services already had a large radio buy with Harvard Broadcasting and, to make the most of this, we wrote and produced a number of different radio scripts specific to advertising their standby generators. Additionally, we developed an aggressive social media campaign that targeted people who were already interested in purchasing a standby generator.

The Result

We used traffic campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn to direct traffic to a landing page built specifically for the campaign. The initial six-week campaign was so successful it was continued for another six weeks. We determined that ads on Facebook and Instagram were providing the best return on spend and only used those platforms for the extended campaign. In total, the campaign brought in over 272,000 ad views and reached nearly 50,000 people, and Shordee Services sold a lot of generators.
