Prairie Clean Energy (PCE) is Canada’s global bioenergy leader in transforming agricultural and wood waste into renewable biomass fuel.

The Challenge

As a start-up company with big aspirations, PCE needed a brand and visual identity that espoused who they are and what they wanted to be. Working alongside the PCE leadership team, we determined the Prairie Clean Energy brand must represent the courageous, capable, innovative, and determined people behind the company. With a goal of making the world a better place through their renewable biomass fuel –and becoming Canada’s global bioenergy leader –a strong, professional brand and logo were necessary.

The Thinking

Once the brand concept was developed, it was all about the logo. Our design team worked hard to create a logo that showcased the company’s Saskatchewan roots while maintaining an overall clean and strong look. The logo is built on a foundation of solid, bold font and is accented by three stripes. These three stripes make up the shape of Saskatchewan and represent the swaths in a flax field during harvest. The stripes are blue for the skies, green for plants and the environment, and brown for the earth.

The Result

Prairie Clean Energy has seen astounding growth due in large part to their incredible products, fantastic team, and the clean, strong, professional marketing materials they present themselves with from Melville, Saskatchewan to London, England and Tokyo, Japan. The recognizable PCE logo can be found on everything we’ve helped with, including their modern website, investor presentation slide decks, business cards, brochures, trade show booths, and their head office in Regina. Our team at Adeptus has worked hard to ensure the PCE brand remains strong and consistent throughout all mediums so this young company can flourish.
